About me: Hello, my name is Ava Westerman and I attend Pewaukee High School in the graduation class of 2023. I am very passionate about both my studies and basketball. Since the beginning of my basketball career, I have been focused on developing my skill set into becoming a complete player. Now, I play point guard, where I am able to utilize my agility and ball-handling skills. I am continuing to develop my shot from a deeper range and getting the ball off as quickly as possible. This past high school season, I was the only sophomore to make Varsity on a veteran team. I love to create opportunities for my teammates by moving the ball quickly and effectively, as well as pushing the ball up the floor as fast as possible in transition. Not only am I offensive-minded, but also skilled on the defensive end. I make it as hard as possible for the person I am guarding with the mindset that they are not going to get around me under any circumstances. I am dedicated to becoming the best player of my ability.
